Butterfly fish, Tropical migrant. This Photo was taken under our local wharf at Pukenui. They are washed here by currents from the tropics and tend to turn up at the end of summer when the waters a warm. There are several other species found around the north so keep an eye out you may find a new species to New Zealand!
