Crested weedfish are extremely camouflaged and rarely seen. They typically perch on seaweed and sway backwards and forwards with the swell. Crested weedfish ‘walk’ over seaweed using their pectoral and pelvic fins, but when disturbed or moving across open water, they swim quickly with undulating movements of the body.
Material: Reclaimed native wood, aged copper, Paua and coloured resin.
